Radio studio

Eirewave is a new pop rock radio station dedicated solely to streaming pop rock from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

From its studios in Liverpool, Belfast, Cardiff, Dublin, and Glasgow, Eirewave aims to bring the heart and soul of British and Irish culture to ears all around the world.

The station is currently expanding and has opportunities for students to get involved as volunteer presenters and backroom staff. Practice makes perfect, and in the radio industry, nothing beats hands on experience!

Olivier Mauxion, Founder of Eirewave said:British and Irish music is about community. Eirewave honours the unity that brings music to life, streaming non-stop tunes that its listeners can enjoy together, uninterrupted by the advert breaks and news broadcasts that put the music on pause for traditional stations. When you tune into Eirewave, you become part of the crowd at your favourite band’s gig, nodding along to the same beat.

Volunteer presenters will be need to be available for approximately 1 to 5 hours per week for remotely recorded shows. Backroom volunteers will assist with the station website and social media, as well as on the business and commercial side of the operation.

The team are also open to new ideas for shows, interviews, and acoustic sessions with artists, so get creative and bring your ideas along – if you are an imaginative, ambitious individual and a radio fanatic, apply today!
