The University’s Summer Graduation celebrations begin today, with thousands of students from our Class of 2022 set to receive their degrees at ceremonies held at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and our new Yoko Ono Lennon Centre.
Catch up ceremonies for our classes of 2020 and 2021 are also continuing over the next two weeks with the last ceremony taking place on Friday, 29 July.
Watch live
Guests without tickets will be able to watch the ceremonies live all week from the dedicated marquee in Abercromby Square. Each ceremony will also be available to watch live online and afterwards using our graduation player.
For detailed information about arrangements for each ceremony, please visit our dedicated Graduation webpages.
Warm weather
We are expecting very warm temperatures this week so please remember to bring a bottle of water with you to your ceremony and keep hydrated throughout the day.
We are working with our venue partners to ensure good ventilation and availability of water throughout the week, but please come prepared. If you intend to wear a suit under your gown, we’d advise you not to wear the suit jacket while you are in your ceremony.
If you or any of your guests feel unwell at any point, please make yourself known to one of our ushers who will be happy to help you.
Share your day
We’re keen to make your day a special one, so please read our checklist to ensure your day runs smoothly, and don’t forget to use #LivUniGrad to keep up-to-date with the latest information and share your photos!
