Let me set the scene,
You’re all alone in the middle of an ever-ageing maze of buildings. The wind is icy and causes your hairs to stand on the back of your neck. There’s nobody around but the orange hue of an old grandfather clock. It ticks on seemingly slower than the rest of the world. Around every corner stands a memorial of one dead and another long gone. The likelihood of the energies of these beings lingering is high as you can feel their presence all around.

Yes, the place I was describing was your very own campus of the University of Liverpool.
Now, you might have never considered the university somewhere that holds any particularly haunting values but to your surprise (and possible demise) I can assure you it has it’s dark and spooky moments.
The University was voted the MOST haunted campus in the UK.
There were various stages of analyses carried out by The Knowledge Academy in order to determine this verdict of our campus being the most haunted in the UK.
Fifty-nine different universities were sampled and judged based on factors such as the number of cemeteries, gravestones and paranormal reports within two miles of each campus. The University of Liverpool was selected as most haunted I n the UK with a terrifying ranking of 8.73 out of 10.
The University itself has 21 recorded instances of paranormal activity and an impressive 282,981 gravestones in its surrounding areas.
The buildings themselves have stood alongside many historical figures from time gone by, and now serve as a reminder of the ghosts of the past.
