Students travelling to, from, and within the Liverpool City Region are being urged to check rail services before they travel, ahead of planned strike action by members of the RMT union.
Significant disruption on the rail network is expected on the following days in December and January:
- 13 and 14 December 2022
- 16 and 17 December 2022
- 3 and 4 January 2023
- 6 and 7 January 2023
Passengers are being warned to expect a very limited service on the dates listed above with no services at all on some routes. Disruption should also be expected on the days that follow strike action due to the knock-on impact of industrial action on shift patterns.
