Dr Babatunde Buraimo, Director of Studies of Football Industries MBA, was interviewed live on Sky Sports News on Wednesday 29 March by Sky’s Ayo Bakare to discuss the Kick It Out Scholarship and the continued partnership between the University of Liverpool Management, Sky and Kick It Out.

During the interview, Babatunde began discussing how the Football Industries MBA is the original, and still the only MBA of its kind that combines with the football industry in addition to having a real business focus that management positions in modern sports demand. Students also learn a range of management and business modules and disciplines, that they can apply to the football industry.

Babatunde concluded by commenting on the importance of diversity in football in particular how it’s a different story in boardrooms and the commercial sector but the Kick It Out Scholarship can help to combat this and future scholars can make a long-lasting change.

Also joining Babatunde live on the interview were Zain Shaffi and Yusuf Molade, two of the 2022/23 Kick It Out Scholarship recipients. Both scholars spoke with Ayo about what they have learned so far on the Football Industries MBA and their plans for the future.
