As a Liverpool graduate you’re joining a global network of more than 270,000 alumni in 189 countries around the world, and no matter where life takes you after graduation, we are here to support you on your journey.

We’re here to keep you connected!

If you’ve recently graduated you can stay connected with us and your graduate community by registering for your alumni account and keep your details up to date to stay connected.

As a member of our alumni community you qualify for some special benefits, including access to the University’s online and on campus library resources and discounts at local hotels. You will also be able to take part in our alumni events around the world by joining one of our alumni networks and associations.

You will have access academic journals and discounts, receive exclusive event invites and your copy of your annual Alumni magazine. Graduates can also join our Alumni Linkedin Group to keep you connected with your Class of 2023 community.

Careers support for graduates

Your Future is our programme of careers and employability support for recent graduates.

We are here to help you research career opportunities, develop your skills, view potential employers, and find graduate jobs in Liverpool, the UK, and beyond.

To help you find the opportunities that are right for you, we’ve created a number of Career Clusters to choose from, all of which include recommended jobs, sector insights, further training and internships to build your work experience and enhance your CV.

You can also access our Whatsapp Communities to connect with fellow graduates, get updates on the latest job opportunities, and keep in touch with our team of career experts.

Graduation isn’t goodbye

Our Careers & Employability team are here to help you find graduate job  opportunities and support you through every stage of the recruitment process.

You can contact the team at any time via Handshake with any career related questions. If you’re having trouble accessing Handshake then email us at careers@liverpool.ac.uk.

All graduates will also be asked to take part in the Graduate Outcomes survey 15 months after they finish your studies. It might seem a long way off, but your valuable response adds to the collective voice of graduates and the results will give current and future students an insight into career destinations and development.

Update your contact details

As a graduate, you will be able to continue accessing our full support and resources via Handshake and from our team of Career Coaches.

The first step is to complete our short online form to update your contact details. When completing the form, you can also opt in to Your Future and select the career clusters that you’re interested in.
