On Thursday 5 October we celebrate student and graduate employability with our new LivUni Employability Day!
The theme for the day is #CareerConfidence and we would like to invite you to take part in the many events that are taking place across campus. These include:
Employability Sessions
We’ve organised a series of employability sessions on campus that are open to students from all degree subjects and every year of study:
- Linkedin Lounges: Perfect your profile plus a free professional headshot photo
- Job Searching for International Students with Student Circus
- Employer Speed Interviews
- Becoming more confident in your place at Livuni
All sessions can be booked via Handshake.
Employer & Enterprise Showcases
We’ve also invited a number of employers onto campus. Look out for the stands on University Square, find out about their opportunities for students and graduates, and pick up some freebies.

We’ve also invited some of our amazing student and graduate entrepreurs to set up stands on Guild Walk for the day – drop by to speak to them about their enterprise jouney and pick up a treat or something great to eat!
The student team from Enactus will also be around to talk about their social enterprise projects that you can get involved with. Stands include:

Improve Your Digital Skills
Digital Skills have never been more important, and that’s why we have recruited and trained a group of University of Liverpool students to be our Digital Coaches and help share their knowledge and develop the digital skills of their peers.
Over the coming months our Digital Coaches will be delivering a series of 1-hour sessions that will help you to develop your digital skill, to help you while at university and prepare you for work after graduation.
The team will be on University Square all day to talk about their sessions and answer any questions – click here to find out more and sign-up to their sessions.

We’ve launched a competition for students to Activate your Handshake profile and complete 5 quick steps – and you could win an amazing tech bundle worth £1,000!
Drop-by the stand on University Square to speak to the team and enter the competition – there’ll also be a chance to spin the wheel and win some other great careers prizes on the day.
