Launched in 2019, the podcast has been downloaded more than 12 million times, and regularly features guests from the football industry, as well as discussing topical stories from the beautiful game and answering listener questions.
The podcast was included in The Guardian Top 20 Indie Podcasts, The Radio Times Top Sports Podcasts of 2023 and many other publications and media outlets.
The live show on 4 March is free to all students and staff at the University and will feature a discussion of current football finance stories as well as questions from the audience.
Kieran said: “It’s fantastic to finally be bringing our live tour to the University of Liverpool – I’m really looking forward to a lively discussion about all things football finance.
“Football is such a huge part of the identity, history and culture of the city of Liverpool it’s great to be able to bring the show to the University and have a home fixture, but ideally no VAR or penalties.”
The event will take place on Monday 4 March between 7pm – 9pm (doors open at 6.30pm), followed by a Q&A session, at the Paul Brett Lecture Theatre in the Yoko Ono Lennon Centre (on the corner of Grove Street and Oxford Street). Tickets are free for University of Liverpool staff and students, you can sign up here.
