National Student Money Week; drop in for budgeting advice and support

National Student Money Week starts next Monday 4 March, with a range of events and support to help you to budget and manage your money effectively.

The theme of this year’s campaign is ‘Less risk, more reward: maintaining your financial wellbeing at university’ and focuses on helping you to budget well and avoid the risks associated with debt and buy-now-pay-later purchases.

What’s on at Liverpool?

Our Money Advice and Guidance Team (MAG) are running drop-in sessions focusing on savvy spending, budgeting and more throughout the week for you:

There will be a range of activities as well as prizes including slow cookers and air fryers up for grabs. The team will also be giving away free veg packs on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry was set up in direct response to the cost of living crisis to support students experiencing food poverty.

The Pantry offers a range of products, from personal hygiene and cleaning products to food cupboard staples.
