Postgraduate Researchers: Win warm up prizes for Making an Impact 2024

There are only 2 weeks to go before bookings open for Making an Impact 2024, with over 90 sessions to inspire and motivate you to develop your knowledge exchange and research impact skills, including more than 30 sessions tailored specifically for PGRs.

Making an Impact 2024, happening between 13th May and 14th June 2024, offers sessions for all postgraduate research students (PGRs), regardless of your study stage – including masterclasses on promoting your research via social media and creating an effective networking strategy; how to evaluate your impact and engage with difference audiences, including policy makers, industry partners and the public; understanding reproducibility and open research; and understanding knowledge transfer partnerships and consultancy.

Further, PGRs across the initial, middle and late stages of the research are all invited to attend prestigious Keynote talks that highlight the importance of the university in the Liverpool community and beyond, and to take advantage of the different campus tours. Specially curated sessions to support PGRs in their strategic career decision making will be available, as well as 30 1:1 career coaching sessions.
