Duke of Edinburgh Volunteers/Leaders
Have you completed your Bronze, Silver and/or Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards? Would you like to support other young people to enhance their personal development and career prospects? Then the Duke of Edinburgh Volunteer/Leader role may be the perfect opportunity for you.
Team Oasis Children’s Charity are looking for new volunteers to help with the Bronze and Silver Awards at their centre in Dingle, Liverpool. This role will involve assisting with the expedition section of the award, supporting young people to learn practical navigation and campcraft skills and to develop their confidence.
This post will require an enhanced DBS check.
This opportunity takes place between 01 Nov 2023 and 01 Jul 2024.
Photography Volunteers
The Liverpool-branch of the community organisation ‘The Choir with No Name’ are looking to recruit some new photography volunteers to help capture poignant moments from their performances and events that can be used on social media, marketing materials (flyers and posters) and for gigs.
The Choir aims to empower homeless and marginalised people in Liverpool to showcase their talents, build personal resilience and create a joyful singing community in a supportive and safe environment. If you have a keen interest in photography or social media, and are passionate about supporting the local community, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.

Flat Sustainability Champion
Do you have a keen interest in sustainability and are currently living in University of Liverpool Halls of Residence? Would you like to gain some relevant experience which would look great on you CV? Then becoming a Flat Sustainability Champion with the Guild’s Sustainability Team and SOS-UK might be the perfect voluntary experience that you have been looking for.
The responsibilities of a Flat Sustainability Champion include encouraging your flatmates to improve their energy conservation, recycling and other sustainable behaviour changes, as well as learning about topical sustainability issues likes the UN Sustainable Development Goals and partaking in competitions. Full training for the role and sustainability issues will be provided.
Please note that this opportunity is only available to students living in University of Liverpool Halls of Residence and no more than one person per flat/household can sign up.

Sefton 4 Good Fundraiser
As a Sefton 4 Good Fundraiser, you will raise vital funds for local charitable groups and causes across Sefton. You could host a bake sale, complete a sponsored run or organise a fundraising challenge for your society. The more creative, the better.
The team will aim to support you in any way they can and will provide a free fundraising pack to support you with your charity challenge.

LGBT+ Ambassador with Just Like Us
If you identify as member of the LGBT+ community and are passionate about improving representation and strengthening support networks for other LGBT+ young people, then why not consider becoming an ambassador for the national charity, Just Like Us!
This is an incredibly varied role, with responsibilities ranging from delivering talks and workshops to schools, creating digital content for social media and achieving the charities strategic ambitions in fundraising, promotion and inclusion. It is also a great opportunity to make connections with a large and diverse community of LGBT+ people across the UK.
