Choosing activities for your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR)

Student gardening - Liverpool Guild

All undergraduate and postgraduate taught students who are due to graduate this summer have recently been contacted regarding HEAR.

Your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) is a comprehensive record of all your university achievements and will be issued to you following your graduation. Part of the HEAR will detail some of the more substantial co- and extra-curricular activities that you took part in during your studies at Liverpool and which the Guild of Students or the University have been able to verify.

You can view these activities by accessing the HEAR 6.1 Choices box on Liverpool Life. Don’t worry if you don’t have any activities listed here – not everyone does.

If you do have activities listed, please check that these are correct.

Please note:

If your activity list is correct, you do not need to take any further action at this point.

If you have any queries, then please follow this FAQ which should answer them or direct you to the staff member who ran your listed activity who will be able to help. Any changes to your list of activities must be highlighted to the activity owner listed by Monday 24 May.

Again, please note that not all activities are eligible to go on the HEAR at this point. The full list can be viewed here.

If you are due to graduate this summer, you will soon be receiving an email that will ask you to register onto our University of Liverpool graduation documents portal. This portal will enable you to view your secure documents and share them with employers, third parties and other institutions, after your award has been conferred at your graduation ceremony.

Undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree students will be able to view electronic versions of their degree certificate and HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report) through this site.

Further information about accessing and using this portal will be published in due course.
