Leave Liverpool Tidy: Swap Shop tomorrow Tues 28 May

Head to the Guild tomorrow between 10am and 4 pm to for this year’s Swap Shop.

Drop off your unwanted clothes, shoes, accessories and dressing up costumes and convert your unwanted old items into coupons to spend on the day. The Guild’s Fix-it team will also be there to help you mend any items that need fixing, so bring along to give your wardrobe a new lease of life!

The Swap Shop is part of The Guild’s Leave Liverpool Tidy project, helping you to donate unwanted items from your student house or halls this summer.

Working in collaboration with British Heart Foundation and Fareshare, the Guild are making it really easy for you to donate your unwanted items instead of throwing it all away.

Don’t dump it, donate it!

Last year, the Leave Liverpool Tidy team collected 3,370 bags of donations from students moving out across the city. That’s equivalent to 27 tonnes of items prevented from going to landfill!

Start thinking about your end of year clear out early (and make packing up easier) by putting the donation dates in the diary so you don’t miss out.

Donation days and drop-off points

Thursday 27 and Friday 28 June from 11am. Drop off locations will be available at Kensington Fields and Wavertree Sports Park.

Everything you need to know about Leave Liverpool Tidy is on the Guild webpages – find out more about how, where and when to donate, which items we can except and other ways you can recycle in Liverpool.
