Careers and Employability support for graduates

As a University of Liverpool graduate, you can continue to access support from the Careers and Employability team as you look for your first professional role or apply for further study.

Whether you need help finding and applying for job opportunities, want to explore possible career paths, or would just like to keep in touch – we are here for you.

If you’re in Liverpool then you can continue to visit the Career Studio at any time, and there’s no appointment needed. We’re open throughout June, so drop-in to see us on University Square from Monday to Friday between 11am and 3pm.

If you can’t make to campus, or need to get in touch during the summer, then you can also chat to a Coach online via Handshake.

We also have lots of resources on Handshake along with digital tools such as CareerSet (CVs), Graduates First (Online Tests) and ShortlisMe (Interviews) that you might find useful.

So, whether you need to explore your career options, to find how to connect with employers, or are looking for information and tips to help with all stages of the recruitment process there’s something for you.

To continue accessing the resources and support from the Careers & Employability team after graduation you’ll need to complete a short online form to update your contact details.

Additional support for graduates

If you’re looking for graduate roles then you can also sign-up to our Your Future support when you update your contact details – this is designed to help you find opportunities and to develop the skills you need to get the job you deserve. It’s a great way to keep in touch with us and gives you direct access to our career experts for advice, application support, and more.

Sign-up and tell us what you’re interested in, and you’ll receive regular updates with the latest jobs and opportunities

Graduation isn’t goodbye

As well as continuing to support you as a graduate we love to hear about your successes! Get in touch if you’d be interested in sharing your story with others, or if you would like to help students with their career journey – and make sure to tag any of our @livunicareers social media accounts when posting about any good news!
