As a student in Liverpool there are loads of great discounts and offers that will help you save money. We’ve rounded up some of our favourite discounts we thought you should know about.
Liverpool One student offers
Liverpool students get access to loads of great discounts for shops and restaurants in Liverpool One. You can find them all listed on the Liverpool One website and sign-up for weekly updates with the latest deals and competitions. Liverpool One also host a student event each year where you can access lots of great student offers.
Sport Liverpool membership
Sport Liverpool offer a wide range of membership options, including access to the campus gym facilities, fitness classes, swimming pool, multi-sports bookings, discounts on climbing sessions and much more. Great value nine-month memberships for students registered at the University of Liverpool is only £189.
Liverpool Guild Uni merch
The all-new University of Liverpool Hoodie & T-Shirt Pack is available from the Guild shop – featuring an all year round hoodie and a t-shirt for those sunny days. Whether you’re a first year, or final year, you won’t want to miss out on this pack!
Discounted student bus pass
Your Guild Student Officers have secured an exclusive travel ticket for students. The pass costs £432 for the academic year, or £464 for 12 months. You can also purchase termly travel tickets or Student Singles. Visit Arriva’s site and the Guild’s webpages to find out which pass or ticket is right for you and your travel schedule.
Independent Liverpool Card
Download the Independent Liverpool App and enjoy discounts at over 110 of Liverpool’s independent cafes, bars, restaurants, theatres, pubs, cinemas, hotels, shops and experiences. Membership costs £2 a month.
Voi E-Scooters
Voi Scooters are easy to use, affordable and very convenient for zipping around town. Look out for the coral-coloured e-scooters in the designated parking bays and download the app to register an account – and if you refer a friend you will both get £10 of credits! It costs £1 to unlock a scooter and then 20p per minute of the ride. Students can also get a Voi 4 Students pass giving you 20% off rides.
Microsoft Office for free
All University of Liverpool students are entitled to install Microsoft Office on personal computers and tablets for free. You can download and install Office on up to 5 devices – whether a PC, laptop, Mac, tablet or phone. Your licence will last for as long as you are a member of the University.
Student Art Pass
A Student Art Pass lets you dive into culture on a budget with FREE entry to hundreds of museums and galleries across the UK, and 50% off major exhibitions.
Plus, you’ll gain access to paid arts opportunities and grow your network by joining the #WeAreArtful @StudentArtPass community. All for £10 a year.
Unidays
If you join Unidays you’ll get access to offers at a huge range of shops, restaurants, hotels and travel services. You can also get discounts on the latest tech and gym membership.
Everyone’s Aigburth Food Club
Aiming to reduce food waste, the Everyone’s Aigburth Food Club provides members with a basket of groceries for £3.50. The Club aims to reduce food waste and is open to anyone who lives in or near Aigburth. You can find out more about Everyone’s Aigburth on their website.

Student Railcard
Get one third off train travel with a 16-25 Railcard. Railcard holders save on average £192 per year. Mature students can save too by showing a valid student ID when registering. Just £30 for 1 year or £70 for 3 years.
