EVENT: Community-led housing for all

An event to present findings from new research on the potential for community-led housing to empower black and minority ethnic communities will take place on Wednesday, 6th November 2024.

The event will discuss a recently published report which identifies significant opportunities to grow black and minority ethnic community-led housing initiatives as well as highlighting some of the barriers to this.

The report `Community-led housing for all: Opportunities and challenges for black and minority ethnic community-led housing’ is co-authored by a team of practitioners and academics: Dr Tom Moore, from the University of Liverpool, Claude Hendrickson MBE from Leeds Community Homes, Henri Baptiste, Pathway Housing Solutions and Dr Yael Arbell from Sheffield Hallam University.

The event will consist of a panel discussion followed by Q&A and participant discussion.

Community-led housing for all takes place on Wednesday 6th November 2024, 6 – 8pm at the Women’s Organisation (L1 0AB).

The event is open to all: anyone with a personal, professional or academic interest is welcome.
