As previously announced, The University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University, in partnership with the British Science Association (BSA), are co-hosting the British Science Festival next year. Between Wednesday 10 and Sunday 14 September 2025 events will be hosted in venues across campus and the city, presenting a rare and ideal opportunity for the University to showcase the impactful and transformational research we undertake, at a national festival.
Activity proposals are strongly encouraged from staff across all areas to challenge , inspire and excite audiences, celebrating the widest range of science and technology topics from all disciplines.

The deadline for proposals is end of Wednesday, 4 December 2024.
The BSA are hosting online information and Q&A sessions on 13 and 14 November to provide you with all the information needed to make your submission and give you the chance to have your questions about the Festival answered.
