Students are invited to be part of an inspiring and insightful International Women’s Day 2025 at the University of Liverpool’s Careers Studio.
This exclusive, in-person event offers you the chance to engage with industry-leading professionals from local graduate employers including the Crown Commercial Services, THG, JLR, Luna Leadership, Matalan, Knowledge Quarter Liverpool, the University of Liverpool, and many more.
With only 60 spaces available, this is your chance to connect with industry professionals, gain insights into STEM, the creative industries, and explore how industries and leading figures are accelerating action for gender equality across underrepresented sectors.
You will also have the opportunity to network with our incredible speakers and fellow students with refreshments at the end of the packed schedule.

Aligned with this year’s International Women’s Day theme – Accelerate Action, this panel will feature leaders from across industries discussing the strategies, policies, and initiatives that are driving gender equality forward. - Panel 2: Women in the Creative Industries (11:10 AM – 11:50 AM)
From fashion to media, marketing to design – the creative industries are vibrant and diverse. This panel will spotlight incredible women who are shaping the creative landscape and breaking down barriers. - Panel 3: Women in STEM (12:00 PM – 12:40 PM)
Discover the experiences and career journeys of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. This panel will explore barriers and opportunities, the impact of gender diversity, and how organisations are driving equity and inclusion in STEM industries. - Networking & Refreshments (12:40 PM – 1:30 PM)
Continue the conversation, make valuable connections, and engage with speakers over refreshments. Additionally, explore stalls featuring work from our talented enterprise students, who will be showcasing their innovative projects and businesses.
