Last chance to register for Interdisciplinary Centre for Sustainability Research launch

The University’s new Interdisciplinary Centre for Sustainability Research (ICSR) will launch this week as part of Sustainability Week.

The ICSR will support teams of researchers to collaboratively address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  Acting as a nexus for interdisciplinary research and impact, it will bring together different types of knowledge, experience and skills from across the University, while fostering engagement with national and international experts.

Staff, students and members of the public can book to attend the launch which takes place on  Wednesday 26th February from 4.30 – 6pm in Lecture Theatre 1 of the 502 Teaching Hub.

You can book your place here.

The launch event will feature special guest speaker Dr Juan Bernabé-Moreno, who is the Director of IBM Research Europe (Ireland and UK) and their Climate and Sustainability Accelerated Discovery Lead alongside Director of ICSR, Professor Katie Atkinson, who will outline Centre’s aims and activities to stimulate interdisciplinary research and impact.
