BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend is coming to Liverpool – here’s everything you need to know

The countdown is officially on! BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2025 is landing in Sefton Park from Friday 23 May to Sunday 25 May, bringing some of the biggest names in music back to our city for an unforgettable weekend.

Whether you’re lucky enough to have tickets or just looking to enjoy the atmosphere around the city, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Getting to the Park: Travel Tips

Planning ahead is essential – Sefton Park will be buzzing all weekend, and so will public transport. Here’s what you need to know:

Local Residents: Noise and Support

Liverpool City Council and BBC Radio 1 are working to minimise disturbances to local residents and the event will operate according to the licensed noise parameters. There is a helpline available for residents to call if any issues – see below.
