Active Liverpool will transform its on-campus gym this September with a full refurbishment in partnership with Matrix Fitness, one of the world’s leading fitness equipment providers.
The project will deliver a brand-new look, state-of-the-art equipment, and a modern training environment designed to elevate every workout.
Whether you prefer lifting, running, cycling, or mobility work, the refurbished gym will support every training style with an improved layout, upgraded facilities, and fresh energy.
Temporary gym closure in August
To complete the refurbishment, the gym will close on Sunday 17 August and reopen on Monday 1 September.
Keep training during the refurbishment
Active Liverpool has arranged alternative training spaces so members can maintain their fitness routine, including:
- A relocated gym in the ground floor sports hall
