Tuition fees are charged by universities to cover the cost of delivering your course and academic life. Fees make up around half (52%) of our income at Liverpool which is used to directly support delivery of our world-class education and TEF Gold-rated student experience.

Tuition fees for 2025/26

Your fees for 2025/26 will shortly be available on our Fees webpages.

We have recently standardised our fee structure to link annual tuition fee rises for most of our international students to the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) measure of inflation. For 2025/26 tuition fees will rise by 3.4% (CPI May 2025).

This will ensure that our pricing structure reflects the quality of our provision and will enable us to continue to invest in and maintain our teaching excellence and student experience.

Information about paying for your studies is available on our webpages.

Payment instalments

If you are self-financing tuition fees, you can pay for each year of study in a single payment or in instalments with a 60%/40% split.

You will receive an invoice at start of your course and again at the beginning of each year of study. This will confirm the total fee you are expected to pay for the academic year.

It is really important to ensure your tuition fees are paid by the deadlines outlined in your personal invoice, as late payments may prevent you from re-registering for the new academic year or graduating if you have reached the end of your studies. If you need to make changes to your payment plan, would like support or anticipate any financial difficulty, please contact the fees team on feesenq@liverpool.ac.uk – we’re here to help.

You can find out more about paying your tuition fees on our webpages.
