Key PGR contacts, policies and regulations

Key contacts

We have both a central Research Degree Administration Team, plus support teams based in schools and faculties, who are your first port of call for any questions or queries you might have. Your school or institute will also communicate with you locally via emails, newsletters and other channels so be sure to check these regularly.

PGR Code of Practice

Our PGR Code of Practice provides an institutional framework for how we deliver your postgraduate research degree.

The Code of Practice contains the policies and procedures relating to you as a research student, your supervisors and examiners of doctoral awards. It includes our policies on admission, supervision, the progression of your studies, thesis submission and examination, academic misconduct, interrupting your studies, extenuating circumstances, and academic appeals.

It’s important that you read the Code as it governors all aspects of your studies.
