Mountford Hall will come alive with creativity, community, and campus spirit on Thursday, 6 November, as we host the #TeamUoL2025 charity talent show.
This spectacular evening – in support of The Walton Centre Charity – will see students and staff take to one of Liverpool’s most iconic stages.
Mountford Hall has played host to legends including The Clash, Joy Division, The Prodigy, Kasabian, Fatboy Slim, Blossoms, and The Who. Now it’s time for the University community to make their mark on the same stage, all in the name of a great cause.
A showcase of talent and community spirit
The line-up promises something for everyone, with student bands performing original music and staff performing cover songs. Expect an ABBA-rific lip sync from HLS, featuring a Dean, two APVCs and PVC Professor Louise Kenny!
A panel of judges will include special guests from Liverpool’s vibrant music and performance scene. They will be joined by University leadership, offering commentary on the acts – and ultimately crowning the winner.
Sign up here to perform here. Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you’re a pro performer or just want to do something fun to support a good cause.
Tickets are on sale now
If performing isn’t for you, you can still be part of the show. By joining the audience, you’ll not only enjoy a fantastic evening of entertainment, but you’ll also show your support for colleagues and classmates bravely stepping on stage.
Tickets are available now, priced at £5 for students/concessions and £10 for staff.
Every ticket sold will support The Walton Centre Charity, the UK’s only specialist NHS trust dedicated to neurology, neurosurgery, spinal, and pain management services.
