Here’s your ‘on the go’ graduation checklist for your graduation day this December!
First stop: Sports Centre
Venue: Sports Centre; D4 on the Campus Map
Activity: Arrive for gowning in line with the time in the itinerary email we’ve sent you. There’s 3 steps to complete at this point in the day:
- Collect your gown
- Pick up your tickets and certificates
- Grab your graduation brochure and alumni tote bag
Gown collection opens: 7am
Gown drop-off (on The Street in the Guild): up to 6.30pm
Second stop: Photography
Venue: Mountford Hall, Guild of Students
Open: 8am (Monday) and 7am (Tuesday to Friday) – The closing time may vary each day, please ask the venue when it will be closing.
Activity: If you have booked photography through Ede & Ravenscroft, your official photography will be in Mountford Hall, Guild of Students . If the queue is too long, pop back later but check with the Sales Desk for closing times and before losing your place in the queue!
Third stop: Liverpool Philharmonic Hall
Venue: Liverpool Philharmonic Hall
Opens: One hour before your ceremony is due to start – you need to be seated at least 45 minutes before it begins
It takes around 15 minutes to walk from campus up to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, so build in enough time so you don’t feel rushed. Your ceremony will last around 90 minutes, and you are expected to stay for the duration, to help celebrate the special moment of all your peers.
Fourth stop: Graduation receptions in the Crypt, Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral
Venue: The Crypt, Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral
Activity: If you’ve registered for your School or department celebration event, receptions are being held at the Crypt, Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, entrance on Brownlow Hill. Please refer back to information shared with you by your School or department for further details.
You can also celebrate in the Courtyard, The Sphinx, The Augustus John or one of our campus cafes.
Final Stop: The Street in the Guild
Venue: ‘The Street’. inside the Guild
Activity: Drop off your gown by 6.30pm
