New student? Here’s a round-up of our Student Support services

As a new student, you might find that you need support for a range of issues during your time here. Here’s an overview of our Student Services team, plus other external support you might find useful.

Your Learning, Teaching and Support Officers (LTSOs)

Learning, Teaching and Support Officers are dedicated to offering you pastoral and practical support at a School level. They’re there to help talk through your concerns and get the appropriate advice from your academic advisor if necessary. They can also put you in touch with wellbeing support if you need some extra help. You can contact your School office via email to get the ball rolling on a conversation. Alternatively, your LTSOs may have drop-in hours during the week. If you’re not sure when these are, email your School or visit in-person to find out more.

Student Services

You’ll find us in the Student Life Building on University Square.

Call us on 0151 795 1000 (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm) or visit the Student Services website to book an appointment.
