Your personalised exam and assessment timetable for semester two will go live in our Timetable Portal at midday on Thursday, 2 April.
The formal exam and assessment period will run from Monday, 11 May to Friday, 29 May 2026.
Your timetable will not be emailed to you directly, so please ensure you check the Timetable Portal for details.
Your timetable will be available in two parts:
- View all centrally-organised University exams – either online exams (up to 24 hours in length) or any in-person exams (in a room on campus) – on your personal exam timetable on the Timetable Portal, or by clicking on ‘Exam Timetable’ in the yellow Essential Links box on your My Liverpool
- Your School or Department will communicate information to you separately about locally organised assessments (online exam-style assessment completed over a longer timeframe up to five days), in-class tests, or coursework.

How to access support
Exam and assessment season can be tough. If you need support, remember teams across the University are here to help:
- Student Support Services: Our Student Services team can help you with a range of non-academic issues including counselling, mental health, money and advice. Student Services are based in the Alsop Building on University Square and you can book an appointment with the team via the online booking system.
- Health Assured advice: Health Assured offer students a free, confidential advice line, with help available to talk through any problem, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can call the 24/7 helpline for free on 0800 028 3766.
- Academic support: The KnowHow team provide online academic support to help you to succeed in your studies. The English Language Centre (ELC)also provides academic skills and language support online and on campus for both home and international students.
- Schools and departments: You may find it helpful to talk to your school or your department.
- The Guild: The Guild offer free and confidential adviceand are independent from the University.
- Self-help library: Our self-help libraryhas resources for a number of different topics including anxiety, depression, stress, imposter syndrome and sleep. The range of resources are designed to give you some ideas on what you can do to stop problems from escalating.
- Emergency help: If you are on campus and feel unsafe, call campus support on 0151 794 2222 and they will come to help you. If you don’t feel that you can keep yourself safe, go to A&E or call 999 for an ambulance. If you don’t need immediate medical treatment and you’re unsure what the best option is for you, call NHS 111.
