Advice sessions: choosing student housing – Tuesday 4 November

Career Studio

The Halls Community Fair will help you consider your housing options for next year.  This means that whenever you’re ready to start your search, you’ll be well equipped to find the right place for you whether it be in Halls or private housing.

We’re teaming up with private housing experts Liverpool Student Homes (LSH). The team at LSH approve private sector accommodation so that you don’t have to worry about finding secure, reliable landlords – they do the hard work for you!

LSH will be running Housing Talks at 6.30pm and 7.15pm so you can get first-hand advice on how and when you can find accredited landlords, average rent prices, finding housemates, knowing when to book, contract checking services, bills and recommended areas to live.

When? Tuesday 4th November, 6-8pm

Where? First floor, 502 building (next to Guild of Students)

Booking a property via Liverpool Student Homes means you can benefit from their support should anything go wrong during your tenancy. LSH will release properties for 2026/27 from 1st December 2025, meaning you can relax in the meantime and gather all the information you need for now. Feeling rushed to sign up to a housing contract? Read our latest blog on the reasons why you don’t need to secure housing just yet.

You can also chat to the University’s accommodation team about living in university halls next year and opportunities to become a Residential Adviser.
