The new interface aims to enhance the student experience
The new Liverpool Life student portal has now been launched to replace SPIDER.
The portal provides applicants, undergraduate and postgraduate students, with a modern, easy-to-use interface that will enhance their experience at the University, and help them connect to their personal academic information.
The new-look system hosts all students’ personalised course information including information such as modules, academic profiles, timetables, results, fee and funding records, together with targeted announcements.
A new toolbox is also available for postgraduate research students who require access to a record of supervisory meetings, PGR portfolio of activity and record of formal training, and provides further programme information, careers information and online resources.
In addition, home and overseas applicants will be able to track their application, monitor the progress of student visas and access accommodation records.

John Cartwright, Director of Computing Services, said: “This system has been developed and refined very carefully to make sure we are providing students with a system which really meets their needs. Technology is fast to improve and this new system ensures we are staying at the cutting edge of improvements to the digital student experience.”
