The University’s new CORE HR system will go live on Friday, 24 April.
From this date, users will be able to access to their own individual CORE HR portal.
Staff who will no longer receive paper payslips will be able to view and download their electronic payslips via the portal, where they can also request leave and training and manage their personal information.
All staff with a University MWS login will have access to the CORE HR system.
When the system goes live, all staff will be notified via email. There will also be updates on the HR intranet, on the University intranet news page, in the announcements section and on digital screens around the University.
When CORE HR is ready to use, the following desktop icon will become available.
There will also be a CORE HR link in the Tools box on the Digital University homepage:
Users will be taken directly to their individual CORE HR portal without the need for log in details.
A number of online resources will be available in the CORE HR InfoBank on the HR intranet. These will include the CORE HR User Guide with step-by-step instructions and diagrams for key functions, a video library and contact details for trained key users in every department.
