The University of Liverpool has been honoured with three awards by Educate North for excellence in specialist research, business education and the student experience.
The Central Teaching Laboratories (CTL) were recognised as offering the ‘Best Student Experience’, whilst the Institute of Infection and Global Health (IGH) was named ‘Specialist Institute of the Year’. The University’s Management School was awarded the region’s ‘Business School of the Year.’
Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Patrick Hackett, said: “I am delighted that the University has been recognised in this way.
“These awards reflect the unique experience that the CTL provides to our students, the significant role that IGH plays in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of global infection and the regional contribution of the University’s Management School through its research and teaching programmes and its engagement with industry and SMEs.”
In its inaugural year, the Educate North Awards in association with the Daily Telegraph, was launched to showcase and celebrate ‘excellence’ and the world class status of higher education institutions across the North of England.
