Experts meet at international workshop Experts from the field of Impact Assessment and Health attended an interdisciplinary international workshop. The Health in Environmental Assessment: Developing an International Perspective workshop, hosted at the Foresight Centre, was organised by Dr Urmila Jha-Thakur and Professor Thomas B Fischer from the School of Environmental Sciences. The workshop was attended by 22 participants, including international representatives from India, the Netherlands, Germany and the World Health Organization. The experts were invited to explore the extent to which health is and can be accommodated within Environmental Assessment. The workshop was funded by the Business Gateway Network Element Award, the Global Health Theme Award, the School of Environmental Sciences, the Research Strategy Group Pump-Priming Research Fund and the People Space and Place cluster of the School of Environmental Sciences.
