The University regrets to report the death of Dr Gerald Rushworth Beech, a graduate (Dipl in Arch 1947, Dipl in Civic Design 1948, BArch 1952) and former member of staff in the School of Architecture from 1937 until his retirement in 1988.
Dr Beech had a continuous connection with the University which was interrupted only by his service in World War Two.
