Staff with a passion for music are invited to join a new Staff Choir that is being launched in February.
The choir, which is open to all levels of singers, will be led by Anne Demougin, the University’s new Choral Director.
Anne said: “I’m really excited about starting the staff choir. It will give singers across campus the opportunity to join together in song, tackle a variety of choral genres and perform regularly in the Liverpool scene.”
Anne is a renowned expert in the field of voice and Choral Music. She has directed the University Chamber Choir over the past year, bringing to it her vast experience as a professional classical singer and choral director.
Originally from Montréal Canada, Anne has lived and worked as a singer, teacher and choral director in Europe and North America. She also holds a Masters of Music in voice performance from the world-famous Juilliard School in New York City.
Rehearsals start on Tuesday, 3 February 5.15-6.45pm. Meetings take place at the First Floor, Large Music Room in the School of Music building, 80-82 Bedford Street South.
