Staff and students at the University of Liverpool can now take advantage of 24/7 access to both the Harold Cohen and Sydney Jones libraries.
Liverpool was the first University in the Russell Group to open 24 hours during weekdays and, due to high demand, this access has now been extended to include weekends for the first time.
University Librarian, Phil Sykes, said: “This will mean we have the best library opening hours in the Russell Group.
“The great thing about this is its simplicity; students don’t have to remember a timetable of opening hours – we just don’t close!”
