Sir Michael Barber
The Chair for Office of Students (OfS), Sir Michael Barber will set out his vision for the higher education sector and students in his inaugural speech streamed live at 2pm today (Friday).
Sir Michael was selected as preferred Chair of the OfS by the Government in February of this year. Barber is a leading thinker and practitioner on public service delivery and has been at the forefront of global thinking in education for the past 20 years including in higher education, for example as a member of the Browne Review of higher education funding.
