Harlee the Dachshund’s 7 top tips for revision…

In need of some motivation to get you through those ‘ruff’ revision days? We’ve consulted Harlee the Dachshund (a very good dog!) and she’s shared her top revision tips to help you get through your exams paw-fectly!

1, Start revision early!

The Sydney Jones Library is one of my favourite places to revise, and during exam time I like to visit the Library on Tour spaces to keep things interesting.

2. Keep on top of your studies

Make a revision plan that is achievable. I love writing lists and checking them off when I’ve completed all the tasks.

3. Take regular breaks

Get some fresh air. A trip to Abercromby Square helps me to clear my head and de-stress.

4. Exercise

Make sure you take some time away from revision to do some exercise. Did you know Sport Liverpool are offering free access to the gym during Wellbeing Week? Make sure you take advantage of it and sign up now!

5. Refuel

Eat well and keep hydrated. Eating nutritious food is a great way to boost your brain when you’re between revision sessions!

6. Ask for help

Feeling hounded? A bit Melan-collie? Talk to your friends and family about how you’re feeling. The University can also offer support if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Check out the Student Services webpages to find out more about the support they can offer.

7. Stay paw-sitive

Believe in yourself. Exam success is not a far-fetched idea. You’re paw-some and you can do it!
