The Postgrad Society is a new interdisciplinary group for all postgraduate students across the University.
The Society will provide academic and social events for its members and ultimately aims to build a university-wide network of support for the University’s postgraduate community.
Speaking about the Society, Charlie Devlin, a General Committee member, said: “We will be running events for all postgraduate students at the University to attend, ranging from board games nights to pub quizzes and film screenings, as well as events that focus on wellbeing and challenges that postgraduate study can bring.
“Ran by postgraduates for postgraduates, the society hopes to nurture an environment where students can feel both supported and encouraged in order to increase postgraduate wellbeing and engagement across the University.”
Recently formed, the Postgrad Society held their first social event last week – a Games Night in the Pilgrim.
