Top discounts you need to know about

As a student in Liverpool there are loads of great discounts and schemes that will help you save money. We’ve rounded up some of the best discounts you should know about.

Discounted student Arriva bus pass

Your Guild Student Officers have secured an exclusive ticket for students. Available at the Guild Shop, the pass costs £335 for the academic year, or £370 for the full year, which is much cheaper than the standard Arriva pass.

Loyalty Plus

Loyalty Plus is the University’s rewards scheme that enables you to upload money to your card. You can then use that money to pay for items on campus.

In return for using your card to pay for items, you’ll receive a whole host of benefits and discounts.

Tate Liverpool

We’ve partnered with Tate Liverpool which means that you can get free access to the Tate’s special exhibitions. Using your student ID card, you can also get 10% discount in Tate Liverpool’s café and shop.


You’re invited to Late at Tate, which is taking place on Friday 27 September. There will be art, music, fashion and workshops to take part in. Free entry.


Independent Liverpool

If you buy an Independent Liverpool card, you’ll get discounts at lots of Liverpool’s independent cafes, restaurants and experiences – from Cuthberts to Camp and Furnace.

£5 tickets for the theatre

With upcoming productions like Little Miss Sunshine and Amelie, you might want to think about becoming a YEP Member. As a member, you’ll get £5 tickets at the Everyman theatre and the Playhouse theatre, and 10% off food and drink. You’ll also get free access to pre-show events and workshops.

Discount rates for Liverpool Literary Festival

This October, enjoy discounted concessionary rates for all events at the Liverpool Literary Festival. The Festival, sponsored by the Bruntwood Group and Student Roost, welcomes back our Chancellor and winner of this year’s Sunday Times Award for Literary Excellence, Colm Tóibín, along with some new faces, including Alan Hollinghurst, Jess Kidd and Molly Case.

City Bikes discount

As a student, you can get an annual membership to CityBike for the special discounted rate of £50. Find out more via the CityBike website.

Use your student card to get money off coffee

Load money onto your University student card using our Loyalty Plus reward scheme and you’ll get a range of discounts, such as 10% off of all hot drinks.

TOTUM

Buy a TOTUM card to access discounts and offers on a range of things, from 25% off at Odeon through to 30% discount at PizzaExpress.
