As a part of Liverpool City Region (LCR) Year of Environment 2019, students across Merseyside are being invited to take part in a Live World Café Event.
The event, which takes place on Thursday, 3 October 2019 from 9am – 4:15pm will give attendees the chance to discuss environmental sustainability, specifically addressing:
- Air quality
- Climate change and resilience
- Green spaces, habitats and biodiversity
- Connecting and engaging communities with nature
- Health and wellbeing
- Sustainable energy
- Reducing waste
- Water
Students will also get an opportunity to ask Liverpool Metro Mayor, Steve Rotherham, questions concerning Environmental Sustainability in the region.
The event will be filmed and screened at the LCR Green Summit, which is taking place in November, and is an excellent opportunity for students and young people to engage with environmental issues for the region.
