During this time, we understand that in addition to health concerns, many students – like the wider population – are finding it difficult to adjust to the current lockdown and wanted to remind you that we are here to support you.
We are working with experts from across our community to provide you with tips and advice on how to maintain your wellbeing during this time. Please continue to read Student News for the latest advice, and also follow our social media channels – Facebook, Instagram and Twitter – where we will post regular round-ups of virtual events as well as share advice from other students on managing during this time.
To help us support you better, please take a couple of minutes to update your current location on Liverpool Life.
Advice for students in Liverpool
For students who have remained in Liverpool, we have put additional support measures in place. Students in University-owned halls of residence will have already been contacted about newly introduced telephone and online check-in meetings, which are designed to highlight the support available and the virtual activities you can get involved in. This is being supported by a e-newsletter round-up.
This same initiative is also available to students remaining in Liverpool in privately rented accommodation from this week. Please complete this form by 13 April if you are currently in private accommodation in Liverpool and interested in taking part.
You can also opt-in to receive the regular e-newsletter via the same form.
Get support if you need it
Student Services (including Counselling and Mental Health Advisory Service, and Student Welfare Advice & Guidance) will be providing enhanced support through phone and email between 9 am and 5 pm each day. Click here for contact details.
Students can also access the Big White Wall 24 hours a day if you need additional support.
