Even in these uncertain times we find ourselves in, university is the first step towards your career, and how you spend your time while you’re here can really make a difference when you graduate.
Our award-winning Careers & Employability team do things differently. Their pioneering approach to employability, including the introduction of the UK’s first student-led Career Studio, innovative curriculum-based activities, exclusive employer events, and a focus on student success, sets the service apart.
This week (Monday, 1 – Friday, 5 June) is Careers Week at the University of Liverpool. Here’s what we have planned:
- Monday: Discover our Career Studio, the heart of our offer – a space led by students, for students, empowered by career experts. Follow our Instagram as our career coaches take over for the day.
- Tuesday: Find out how first-hand experience of new and emerging technologies gives our students the edge in the increasingly competitive world of graduate recruitment.
- Wednesday: Learn how we work with faculties to design, develop and deliver embedded employability activity and tailored support in your subject area.
- Thursday: Explore how our employer-led events and engagement programme is designed to bring you together with leading graduate employers and build networks.
- Friday: Each year we help thousands of students take their first steps into their early career and professional life. Let our students and graduates tell you in their own words how our Careers & Employability team helped them create their own path to success. Follow our Twitter to read some of their stories.
Make sure you follow our Careers team on twitter, Facebook and Instagram throughout the week for hints and tips on getting prepared for your future.
