Additional COVID-19 outbreak control measures in the Princes Park area of the city have now been lifted.
The action was taken in response to an increase in the number of confirmed infections in the ward, and the measures were intended to rapidly control the spread of the virus, protect vulnerable communities and the elderly and prevent the need for the city to go into an additional lockdown.
Liverpool City Council advised that the enhanced measures had been lifted from Saturday, 15 August after the community action successfully contained the rise in coronavirus infections.
Enhanced measures will be lifted in Princes Park from tomorrow (Saturday 15th August).
