Liverpool Guild of Students is the University’s student union – as soon as you become a student at the University of Liverpool, you also become a member of the Guild, and can enjoy all the activities and services they offer.
As a student, the Guild is also a great place to make friends, socialise, try something new or get some extra support. They also run a free and confidential advice service and provide lots of opportunities to make positive change on campus, too.
The Guild are here to make sure you get the most out of your time at University and help you feel part of your student community. This year, even though things are different, their mission remains the same just with a few adjustments to make sure we keep everybody safe.
Using the Guild this year
You can find the Guild on University square, opposite the VG&M, or our ‘redbrick’ building. When visiting the Guild, you’ll notice new measures have been implemented, including one-way systems, bookable tables and an ordering app. All of which allow you to enjoy lunch or drinks with friends in a safe, socially distanced space.*
*Please remember, safety guidelines may change and you should stay up to date with the latest Government advice.
There are also lots of ways to interact with the Guild virtually. Take a look at their website and social channels for the latest events, activities and volunteering opportunities: www.liverpoolguild.org
