Virtual events and activities to take part in this week: Student Experience Whether you are self-isolating, or just staying in more during the lockdown – we know it can be tricky to find things to do to keep busy! The University has been working closely with Liverpool Guild of Students to make sure that there are lots of covid-safe activities available for you to take part in, try out something new, and meet fellow students. Each week we will round up some of the best virtual events and activities you can enjoy – this week we’re bringing you the best activities designed to enjoy outside your course, to enrich your ‘student experience’. All society events are being held virtually, including many induction and welcome events for those of you who haven’t joined yet – take a look through the full calendar here. 2. TeaTalk Whether you’re looking to make new friends or just want a bit of company, put time in your diary for a cuppa and a virtual chat. Workshop: Living with anxiety This workshop will include various topic areas surrounding anxiety, and how anxiety is portrayed in the world today. Some examples of discussion areas include: Living with worry and fear Understanding anxiety Understanding panic Misunderstandings and myths around anxiety Coping with worry, fear and isolation during uncertain times The workshop will be interactive and encourage lots of discussion.
