The University Hardship Fund 2020/21 is open for applications.
The fund is open to UK and overseas undergraduate and postgraduate students and is able to provide support in cases of financial hardship.
Students who are experiencing hardship, whether it is a result of ongoing financial difficulties or one-off, unexpected essential expenditure, are invited to apply to the fund. This includes students who may have been affected financially due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 including loss of employment or changes to family contributions.
Awards from the fund are normally made on a grant basis and are therefore non-repayable.
For further information and how to apply please see our webpage.
We understand that some students may require additional support accessing a suitable device and technology to study this year. We currently have the following support schemes in place:
UK students with any money or funding queries or concerns can contact Money Advice and Guidance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We can offer appointments face-to-face via Microsoft Teams or we can advise by telephone or email.
Overseas students with any money or funding queries or concerns can contact International Advice and Guidance by emailing IAGteam@liverpool.ac.uk. We can offer appointments face-to face via Microsoft Teams or by email.
We’re here for you. If you need access to support, activities or services we’re here to help.
