Open to UK students and graduates, the programme offers paid six-month or one-year placement in 15 destinations, to support the teaching of English in countries around the world.
Teaching time is limited to between 12 and 20 hours a week, giving you plenty of time to experience the country and pursue other interests.
As an English Language Assistant, you will:
- strengthen your CV
- gain classroom experience
- improve your fluency in another language
- gain a number of skills including communication, presentation, time management, organisation, teamwork, and problem-solving

There are opportunities for those with high-level language skills in French, German, Spanish and Italian, as well as opportunities for those from non-language disciplines.
