PhD Virtual Study Fair

If you’re interested in continuing your studies as a postgraduate researcher, don’t miss the FindAPhD Virtual Study Fair taking place on 15 and 16 February.

The online event is for anyone thinking about PhD study – whether you’re at the first stages of the decision-making process, or have found your PhD programme and are looking for advice.

Monday 15 February will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics & Medicine subjects. Attend on Tuesday 16 February if you’re interested in Business, Law, Social Sciences & Arts subjects.

You are free to join each day between 11am and 3:30pm to discuss your PhD options with UK and international universities, hear from staff and students about life as a postgraduate researcher, attend webinars, and to receive advice on funding and scholarships.

Research opportunities

Once in the fair you will be able to use a keyword search to see which universities have PhDs in the subject(s) you’re interested in. Use the Fair to find out all you need to know about studying for a PhD so that you are confident in taking the next steps on your study journey.

Funding advice

Accessing different types of PhD funding can be confusing. The dedicated funding webinars will help you get to grips with UK and international funding, as well as scholarship opportunities. You can chat directly with universities to find out what they can offer too.

Attend webinars

For extra information and advice, you can join webinars on a variety of subjects including studying abroad, insights on Covid-19, and a specialist Research Proposal Writing Masterclass.
