1. Digital Bootcamp: Coding for beginners
In celebration of International Women’s Day FDM Group is launching an exciting Digital Bootcamp to explore coding for beginners and gives a chance to launch your career through a fast-track interview opportunity to join FDM’s Technical Graduate Programme.

2. Workshop: Suicide Prevention
This workshop will be co-produced in partnership with the Mersey Care Suicide Prevention Team. It will be an opportunity to hear about solutions and paths to start to raise awareness for the devastating impact suicide has on families, and society. Some examples of discussion areas include:
• How to recognise when someone may be suffering
• How to encourage people to seek support
• How to guide them to the correct support
• Most importantly, how to offer hope
This will be a very sensitive topic for plenty of students, and we would implore anyone who thinks this is something they can learn from, to come along. As a matter of fact, we can all learn from this and anything we gain from it may come in to be crucial at any point in our lives.

3. TeaTalk

6. Happy Not Perfect: Meditation with Poppy
Join us for a short and calming meditation using breathwork. Use this time to wind down the mind so you can think with more clarity and release any stress or anxiety.

8. Crafternoon: Felting, Stitching and Embroidery
Working on a craft for you need to finish, or looking to start a new one? Come along to our Crafternoon and enjoy a mindful crafting session and take a break from a busy semester!

9. NHS Blood Donor Competition
The NHS needs to ensure there is always enough blood available for patients, and they are looking for new ideas to encourage people to give blood. Enter their student competition and you could boost your CV, win a £100 voucher, and help to save lives.
