This spring, the Careers and Employability team are hosting a week of online and on-campus events and activities that will provide you with an insight into a wide range of different employment sectors, and inspire you in your own career journey.
Inspired Futures week from 19-23 April offers a chance to hear from interesting speakers who will share their career story and provide you with everything you need to know about their roles, how the pandemic has impacted it, and what you can do now to help prepare for your future career.
We’ve invited guest speakers, current students, recent graduates, and some of our employer partners, to get involved and have created a dedicated Inspired Futures website to showcase what’s on.
During the week there will also be a daily spotligh on a podcasts from our new Inspired Futures series. These feature interviews with people working at TATE Liverpool, The Science and Technology Facilities Council, Hays Recruitment, The Funding Crowd, and Liverpool based Capacity who support organisations from the charity and non-profit sectors.
Visit the Inspired Futures website to find out more and to register for the online and on-campus events.
If you need some help exploring your career options, searching for opportunities, or with any stage of the job application process, then our Career Coaches are here to help.
From Monday 19 April the Career Studio will reopen on campus, offering a drop-in service with the Career Coaches every Monday and Thursday from 11 am – 2pm.
The Virtual Career Studio remains open to offer daily support, and you can access our full range of digital resources on the website as well as using Handshake to sign-up up to events and look for job opportunities.
Every journey starts with a single step. Be ambitious. Be creative. Be inspired.
